Are you an ecommerce entrepreneur hitting your head against the wall with the frustration of shipping management? There’s a new platform that will save you the headache by streamlining everything in one place.

Let’s take a step back for a moment and meet Juan Velasquez; a visionary tech entrepreneur and software engineer who co-founded CorrelLink with Shahriar Jamshidi

A decade ago, Velasquez and his wife began their ecommerce journey from the comfort of their home, hoping to earn some extra income on the side. What started as a modest side hustle soon turned into a thriving business, pushing them to expand into a dedicated warehouse and broaden their reach across multiple online marketplaces.

AZK Media's Azadeh Williams interviews Juan Velasquez and Shahriar Jamshidi about Shipperfy's beginning.

But with this dream growth came complexity.

As orders started flowing in from different platforms, managing fulfillment became a logistical nightmare. Velasquez found himself manually checking and syncing orders, dealing with missed cancellations, and re-entering parcel dimensions for every shipment. The available software solutions fell short. None offered real-time tracking or the automation he desperately needed.

Frustrated but determined, Velasquez leaned into his background as a software developer and decided to build something better.

Shipperfy has arrived: Built to solve real problems in shipping management

Shipperfy is the result of Velasquez’s real-world frustrations and his technical know-how.

“We evaluated four or five solutions,” he recalls, “but none of them met our expectations. That’s when we thought, ‘We can do better.’”

So, he and his business partner and software developer, Shahriar Jamshidi, started building a platform that solved the exact problems ecommerce retailers face every day.

At the core of Shipperfy is real-time order syncing, a critical feature that existing platforms failed to deliver.

“With Shipperfy, you just click once, and instantly see the same orders as your marketplaces or website,” Velasquez explains.

“No more guessing, no more missed cancellations. You just click, send, and ship.”

Automation that actually saves time

Shipping is not only a headache with painstaking logistics and costs, but it is a tedious time-consuming process. Shipperfy takes an easy-breezy approach for customers by automatically pulling parcel dimensions and weights, eliminating the need for manual entry on every order.

It also offers built-in invoicing; something other solutions lacked when Velasquez first searched for an alternative. These features, he says, not only streamline the order process but also reduce human error, helping small and medium-sized businesses scale with confidence.

Built on proven architecture, ready for growth

Generally speaking, when the front-end of a solution is seamless, the back-end is running its legs at full speed. Developed on Correllink architecture, which powers enterprise and commercial software solutions, Jamshidi shares that the platform has been designed from the ground up to support high volumes and high usage.

“We’ve built it to be deployable across various environments, from cloud platforms like AWS to on-premises servers. It’s a 100 percent homegrown Aussie solution, tested and proven to handle the demands of serious ecommerce businesses.”

Debuting at Online Retailer 2025

Now, after the development and live use within their own ecommerce business, Velasquez and Jamshidi are ready to take Shipperfy to the wider market at the 2025 Online Retailer Expo.

“This is a big thrill for us,” Velasquez says.

“It’s our first time presenting at an event like this. I’ve attended Online Retailer for the past few years as a business owner, and I always thought, ‘When the solution is ready, we’ll bring it here.’ Well, now it’s ready.”

With a booth to showcase the platform’s capabilities, Shipperfy hopes to capture the attention of retailers who are tired of juggling fragmented systems and manual processes.

Whether you’re running a growing online store or managing a multi-channel operation, Shipperfy promises to bring sanity back to fulfillment with a smart, intuitive platform built by people who’ve walked the same path.

Streamline your shipping journey

Today’s ecommerce landscape is hyper-competitive, where operational efficiency can be the difference between scaling profitably and falling behind. Retailers need solutions that adapt to their needs, automate tedious tasks and provide reliable visibility across all their channels.

Shipperfy ensures these demands are met by creating a platform that’s grounded in real retail experience and elevated by technical excellence.

For Australian ecommerce brands ready to simplify, scale and succeed, Shipperfy just might be the missing link.
